This is by far the best controller I have ever used!  I have installed hundreds of controllers over the years, and this one takes all of the guesswork out of creating a schedule.  It pulls all of the weather data  for your address and figures out a custom schedule based on your grass and soil types, the amount of sunlight, the slope, and they types of sprinkler heads you have.  This allows it to water only what is needed to keep your yard looking great while saving up to 30% on your water usage.  

The Rachio Pro controllers come in 8 or 16 zone versions, and are linkable up to 64 zones.  They can be upgraded with soil moisture sensors, flow meters,  and more.
